The Nutrition Observatory for Development – NODE – was created for you, someone who loves nutrition and believes it’s central to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.
In the last two decades I’ve been jumping across continents, going from one meeting to project sites and then back to another meeting. I’ve talked with many project officers, donors, directors and technical advisors from multiple countries and it always strikes me their appetite for recent evidence and updates on the international nutrition arena.
I can’t tell you the number of times that I’ve heard that it sooo hard to keep track of all the new information. “Either I work, or I surf the web” -they sigh.
Well, that has been my job for many years. I follow the nutrition world and digest critical information for better decision-making. This website is my way to share with you what I know and observe in a simple way.
NODE is a one-stop site with updated news, opinions, interviews, and resources on nutrition and international development.
My goal is that when you visit it, you feel more informed and with new tools to make your job more connected and efficient.
In NODE you will find open-access:
- Stories about those nutrition heroes who make a difference through their day-to-day work. There are many!
- News and resources from multiple organizations, in a non-partisan spirit.
- Blogs and opinions to connect the community through a shared space.
- Spaces to express your views. Yes, we all have an opinion… and I look forward to hearing yours.
Enjoy the read and follow us on social media!
